Ya, we all have been there, and still go there, but never give in and sell if it doesn't feel right. I often do trades between companies in totally different industries. You should try and play the highs and lows of each type of market. I'm watching the oil, and wondering how long can they keep it down. Some of my favorites on my watch list have been hammered big time. One that I still hold a good position is AOI, but I don't think in my head it will bounce for at least 6 months. But I did manage to sell some over the years at way higher prices than today. But to my point, I will not sell anymore of my AOI, as I know one day it will bounce back. But, when I trade shares out of a stock, I try to buy them back at a much higher ratio than when traded out. Never put all in 1 stock.
