I have every respect for those visiting from other hubs - I started posting here because it's easy to incorporate pictures, and I hate writing without pictures.

Fixed the entry-point to this hub - now anyone can type in TRC in the search field at the top and you'll get straight to the Teryl hub.

I am not being paid or compensated in any way - I just wanted to pull some information together on what is a compellng story. I love it when there's a buyout offer as it puts the other company's interest on the table.

When Kinross wanted the heap leach approval from the Alaska gov't, they threatened to close the Fort Knox to get it. So of course they couldn't point out the strengths of the Gil at the same time - they had to downplay it. After that Kinross and Teryl found a lot more gold and Kinross started keeping the data to itself, even though the rules say K has to share what they derive from raw data that TRC has paid for obtaining by drilling.

Kinross will probably base another bid on whatever the share price is doing in the weeks before an offer - that's probably what they based their November offer on - a premium to market. It will be a tug of war between those who flip out for a quick buck or because they need a downpayment or whatever, and those who know Kinross is getting a sweet deal and want the premium to TRC's market.
