This makes a lot of sense.
From a techincal point of view, Sinclair sees the same thing many of us see. If some material news does not do somthing positive, TRE stock price is going to collapse.
What this release appears to be saying is that he is concentrating his resources on Buckreef in order to show production results sooner which is another way of saying making a profit. Waiting 30 months for full production is ridiculous. The institutional big position holders are about 25 million shares. 75 million must be presumably retail share horlders. He has to give them some tangible reason to hold the stock otherwise he will have 75 million share holders running for the hills.
According to the charting we are within a hair's length of taking a techinical bath. This announcement makes a lot of sense. Sinclair realizes he is behind the curve here and telling share holders to go screw themselves when they are not happy with the current results no longer works. He may also have heard from the institutions who are not too happy either that with gold hitting record highs TRE seems to be going in the opposite direction.
This is a welcomed kick in the pants.
