"What changed"....

In a word... October.

Talked to CC about this and he said that given the current economy it doesn't make sense to spend the $ when they already have the contacts for $ and are moving ahead with their feasibility work etc... CC doubted there would be many people in NY that would really be interested in investing in any companies. I have to agree with him, and as an investor think the $ is better spent elsewhere. The only ones that are not happy about this are the organizers of the event. I'm sure they are sweating with all the companies pulling out.
