I think we'll see the DOW at 13,000 well before 10 years is up. There are several reasons... but one of the most compelling is that in previous recessions stocks were over-bought. Prices were based on speculation run ups and not so much value. Not this time... valuations were modest before the bottom fell out. That would imply that the DOW at 13,000 was based on value more than speculation ... which is easier to recover to. IMHO
