DJ T Boone Pickens BP Capital Mgmt Adds Ten Stakes To Portfolio

Oilman T. Boone Pickens reported Friday that his hedge fund, BP Capital Management LP, acquired 10 new stakes in energy companies for the quarter ending March 31.
Among the new stakes reported, the fund acquired 230,000 shares of Alpha Natural Resources Inc. (ANR); 200,000 shares of Halliburton Co. (HAL); and 200,000 shares of Cabot Oil & Gas Co. (COG).
He also increased his stake in five holdings, including raising his stake in Suncor Energy Inc. (SU) to 300,000 shares from 100,000 shares in the previous quarter
For the quarter ending March 31, Pickens eliminated his holdings of 100,000 shares each in Peabody Energy Corp. (BTU) and Denbury Resources Inc. (DNR).
