About GPR

Irwin Pauls had a vision to explore for gold in the Bissett area in the early 1990's. He recognised the fractured land ownership of the area as a major problem and began his vision of land consolidation. Mr. Pauls now has a large land position with over 4,000 contiguous hectares.

In 1994 Golden Pocket Resources (GPR) was established. GPR is a junior exploration company in the business of acquiring properties and exploring for, developing and producing minerals in the gold bearing Rice Lake Greenstone Belt in Manitoba, Canada.

Since then Golden Pocket Resources has conducted many explorations with good results and new discoveries in the area. Irwin Pauls continues to build the company with new land positions and exploration programs. The Bissett Project is positioned in the heart of Greenstone Belt over 4,012 hectares. The property borders the Rice Lake Gold Mill & Smelter, and is easily accessible by all weather provincial roads...Straddles the Wanipigow fault at the western end of the exposed Rice Lake Belt.
Gold values of 32.21 oz per ton over 0.38 meters, 1.95 oz per ton over 0.23 meters and 0.39 oz per ton reported in a sheer zone expending over 600 meters long... General ....Through the grape vine , i heard Dale tried to come to some sort of agreement with GPR, but ,talks broke off...they definately hold prime realestate, maybe Strickpoint Gold , can work some magic.
