It ain't over 'til it's over, but so far this week, Venture is down over 5%. It sliced throught the 20, 50 and 200 day MA. Just like the gold stocks, it has broken the uptrend line from Dec. Not too surprising after the gold stocks started tanking last week. Similar to the gold stocks, there's still a good chance that this is just a pullback in a large basing pattern. But the short term trend is currently down (which means bounces should be sold until the trend changes).
That said, we are close to support on both the PMs and Venture, so a bounce is likely very soon. The strength of the bounce should be watched.
Uranium stocks are pulling back as well, but I still prefer uranium over gold. The long term fundamentals (darn, I really hate using that word, lol) for uranium are excellent, while that of gold (regardless of the constant drum beating from the gold bugs) is iffy.
