Market looked quiet, so I took a week off to go camping in Algonquin. Expected the PMs to consolidate, but it looks like they're collapsing instead. Seasonals remain favourable for a couple more weeks, but it really doesn't look good. Best case is another leg up for a short time, worst case the jig is up and it's time to go.

It's possible this may all be part of a large basing pattern that started in mid April which would eventually lead to a major breakout, but there's no way to know right now. Depending on the stock and index, the uptrend from late June has broken or is on the brink. The sector is really oversold short term, but that doesn't mean it can't keep going down. I'm in the process of lightening up on PMs - there are plenty of good places to put my money right now.
