I think you have to be careful with gurus in general. Some of them make a great call every 10 or 20 years or so and try to live off that. All the wrong calls in between are conveniently forgotton. The trick to being a good guru is to make a lot of major calls and promote the ones you get right.

When people pick a guru and follow them blindly, they eventually go over the cliff. It's always best to listen to a lot of opinions, evaluate the arguments, and come to your own conclusions.
