Well, I've been getting increasingly cautious on the Canadian markets, but I think the US markets are still OK. I went short silver, oil, and energy stocks last week - not directly, but by selling calls on SLV, UCO, & ERX. I originally did this as a hedge, but I didn't like they way the PM stocks, and to a lesser extent the energy stocks behaved relative to their commodities, so I sold most of my PM & energy stocks and left the options plays on the table. Worked out pretty good so far, even though I didn't really time it all that well.

I also don't like the way the Venture is performing, especially relative to the TSX, so I've been lightening up on juniors for a couple of months now - sometimes it takes that long to sell these, lol!

Been trading the rees in and out - sold half my AVL & REE this morning on the initial pop, but I think this sector could still have some life, so I haven't given up completely.

Overall, I'm fairly sure this is just a consolidation, but it may be a long one, so I've been raising cash (now about 55%) - I suspect there will be a much better buying opportunity down the road - probably around August. Powerful rally after that, methinks (mehopes?).
