I think it has been said before, but I think Nadler's purpose on Kitco is to present a decidely negative opinion on gold so that an investor can not claim that Kitco promotes buying Gold.

If gold were to drop substantially in price Kitco could always trot out articles by Nadler and say these articles that appeared on our website clearly warned you that this could happen.

To my way of thinking this is the only explanation to his constant negative stand on gold and gold investments.
