We now see that demand for up-market diamonds in the Americas made a clear

bottom in the quarter ended April 30, 2009

We remind investors that Asia has become the new growth engine for diamond demand, so the trend in up-market diamonds in the Americas, with a clear bottom in the quarter ended April 30, 2009...is icing on the cake. Investors can play the twin up-trends, in Asia and the Americas, via the shares of Canadian explorers/developers Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. (MPV – TSX; Cdn$2.14; BUY) and Peregrine Diamonds Ltd. And we note that the next diamond mine to be developed in Canada, after that of Mountain Province, could well be the Renard property of Stornoway Diamond Corporation.
