and of course the hdmi input on the tv....this cable carries both video and sound.....never tried it so not sure how good it works but I understand it works fine on tv's.Working with the split screen is great, I throw my charts to the left and have an open site with synergy, my trade accts or whatever to the right. I don't need dual monitors any more especially with 23 inch screen. The quad is great, I was going to get the Icore chip but figured I really didn't need it, the quad is plenty of machine. It's amazing how much computer you get for a good price compared to what I paid for my Ibm 10 years ago. If you upgraed your laptop I hope it handles windows 7.
