I'm not sure why some of the posters on this board are so positive about losing 90% of the shares they have accumulated over the past couple of years. As far as I can see there is no reason to believe the market will support a doubling of SPY's market cap after the consolidation and financing. I can accept the dilution and financing, but the share consolidation really leaves us in a vulnerable position. What will prevent the share price from being hammered post R/S ? I see less downside to a higher share count and lower share price. Why do you see this move as positive for shareholders ?
