Drew: These people placing the calls on behalf of Cliff's are undoubtedly a hired call centre who last week were phoning on behalf of McDonalds and the week before on behalf of some charity. They are normally given Q-cards and told to phone as many people as possible. They are paid by the number of calls they can complete and if they happen to be selling something theat night they are paid per sale.

My message is don't read too much in what they say and they typically know diddly about their client and the issues at hand...just keep them on the line as long as possible.
