"So, what about the other large shareholders? And what exactly did Cliffs offer MineralsFields to sway them? Are they happy with the .19 cent offer? Appears so. Is it possible that Mineralfields has access to the valuation of BD? So what is the deal?"
With Jow Dwek Mngt on Cliff's side, it will now be easier for Cliffs to get the proxies needed to vote down the merger. I'm really disapointed. What I find hard to understand is that Minealdfield owns 5% or more of KWG... I recall they got the shares at 2 cents or so, but... Frank is probably realy nervous, now.
BTW Cliffs did not say that they had the support of Spider Management. So the 21% they're talking about includes the management IF they happen to have their support.
I think that the July 8 vote will proceed anyways. But with Mineraldfield on the adverse boat, I'm a little scare with the possible outcome. Every vote will count! It may not be over yet.
