Message: Permitted Bid and Confidentiality.

I find it hard to believe that Cliffs was not privy to confidential insider information specific to the the coming 43-101. I would also find it hard to believe that any "permitted bid" would not have been submitted by Cliffs without a "confidentiality agreement" in place. To say otherwise could suggest that one or the other was confident or perhaps rushed into an offer for whatever the reason. I would say that Cliff's knows exactly what they are doing and will do what it takes to get access to all ROF properties. And YES they will attempt to do so at the expense of others so they continue to please their board and shareholders. They are good at what they do foresure.

I would like to see an interested third party come into play, but I must admit if there was no other bidder in the FWR (other then NOT, but they are to small to be considered a large player) takeover that there will be none here either. I hope I am wrong. Let's hope that SPQ and KWG are in agreement of a plan to ensure protection of its value for shareholders is in the making. I have been told both were concerned about a take over so lets hope that the plan is underway and it began this morning as a halt prior to market open.

From KWG NR:

including the condition that a take-over bid made by an offeror who possesses confidential information concerning the Corporation will not constitute a Permitted Bid unless the offeror has entered into a confidentiality agreement containing a standstill provision with the Corporation within the three months that precedes the commencement of the bid.
