As a shareholder of SPQ I certainly hope you are correct.

Considering Spider has 475MM shares outstanding, a $3.50 per share offer would make it a 1.6 billion dollar offer... SPQ probably has that value in the ground, but of course any company making an offer won't be doing so to break even in the long run...

I'm thinking they may come out with something along the line of a 30 cent offer, stating it's a 300% premium over the past 20 trading day average...

It's too bad our SP hasn't done better, since in my experience offers are often based on average share price in the past X days and not actual company value...

I hope I am wrong...
