First Explorer at the "Ring of Fire" and presently drilling on the "BIG DADDY" Chromite/Pge's jv'd property...yet we were robbed
The shareholders of Spider are no different than those of any other company.I would guess most have the confidence to trade online and make their own decisions. Thankful everyday that we have the internet and the ability to stay informed.
The shareholders it turns out had a chance to speak or voice their collective opinion on May 19th.There was a strong message here for the BOD.
“I, or We made a mistake” Not that hard to say as most of us have done at least once or twice. We learn from such events and move on, trying not to repeat them.
Each shareholder voted his or her conscience. Some were saying “yes” or “no” and some were simply stating they didn’t have enough information or confidence in management to support the motion. To say a R/S is a hard sale would be an understatement.
We should be proud as shareholders that we spoke up.We certainly don’t deserve to be “Chastised” for it. The result clearly indicated that the BOD failed to convince shareholders that their plans were worthy.Let’s be polite and just say it lacked “Finesse”. They new having tried this before it would not be easy but still went about it with a lack of preparation and foresight. End result has cost shareholders plenty.
All that any of us want from Neil and the BOD is to move forward with a fresh approach to managing the affairs of Spider.
We need only look at the results that such companies as Canaco and East Asia Minerals are experiencing.I’m not saying they have viable plays just that through a dependable flow of information to shareholders they have gained the confidence of the market. This is all we ask here.
If this is not going to happen then Rallard’s contention of selling is the only option and at this point probably the most credible. Get the sign on the lawn and hire someone qualified to negotiate the best deal for all of us.
A new week is upon us and I hope Neil and the BOD will join the rest of their team.
Even the best coach has to communicate with his or her players to win.
