I didn't say it will be years before a buyout. I said it will be years before a mine is in operation. I also said it might be a while before a buyout, depending on the results of the 43-101
As for the Cliff PP, all they are doing is maintaing their >50% interest in the Big Daddy property. They already have Freewest (45%), so must maintain a certain level of interest in KWG to maintain that ratio, and keeping it at just below 20% does that (gives 50.5%)
THAT is their rationale behind the PP. It makes it much more difficult for some third company to come in and buy SPQ & KWG and try to snag the property. So don't be cheering CLF's action, they are actually locking us up.
