I read first in the article when the blockade began:
"We had to let nine First Nations people go," said Moe Lavigne, vice-president of exploration and development for KWG..."
Then I read from one of the FN Chiefs:
"Our issues have not been properly addressed. The companies out there try to avoid First Nations people."
Am I missing something here? Or are some people speaking from both sides of their mouth.
First and foremost, we ALL need respect in the upcoming negotiations: the First Nations peoples, the white man, the politicians, the corporate CEOs. No half truths, please. No smug smiles. We can all win here.
