As an adjunct to Snug's thougths it may be important to contact the members of the oposition in the house. More often than not, it is the oposition MPP's who actually bring forth initiatives in the house. They can put huge preasure on the sitting government to act.

The members of the NDP have always been stong supporters of job initiatives. Also Tim Hudak, the leader of the official oposition has a masters degree in Economics from Washington University and was Minister of Mines and Northern Development in Mike Harris's government. He should know a thing or two about the benefits of investing in northern infastructure!
