Spider Resources & diamonds

Some excellent posts today on the history of Spider Resources and diamonds.

When you now go out to www.spiderresources.com , you see a window which highlights the fact that Spider Resources found kimberlite pipes a way back in 1993 in the JBL. The Victor Mine (deBeers) - the first diamond mine in Ontario - is the result of one of Neil Novak's kimberlite discoveries. What the SPQ homepage doesn't mention is Wawa, Ontario (which two of you did mention in your posts), and the diamonds there.

Neil has mentioned to me privately that he would like to spend more time on Wawa and diamonds. I expect, however, he has his plate full with Big Daddy happenings. And that's exciting for all of us.

So, for the investor who likes lots of risk and micro-caps as an investment, Spider Resources is a good bet to place your money. We're part of Big Daddy (a fabulously long chromite and PGE play, we're part of a diamond play, and we're part of an intriguing ROF play.

For the new investor (and the old ones too), hang tight, poke your nose into Spider Resources on SEDAR if you haven't been there (for a while), reread the MICON 43-101, and have a great weekend. The future looks bright. IMHO
