Please read below what Hoov posted on the NOT board.

"When I was talking to Neil after the Noront luncheon, he mentioned that his contract was coming up for renewal. At that time, he expected that it would be renewed, but he wasn't too concerned because there are other clauses in the prior contract that would then come into effect. If I recall correctly, if not renewed, he automatically becomes a consultant, at reduced pay. But he'd be independent of Noront, and not privy to the same information, and access.

If you own Spider shares, you'd probably think this is a good thing, because the old contract limited him to something like 12 hours per week on Spider business. Obviously, that constraint is no longer in effect.

I am concerned if there is a full severance of the relationship between Novak and Noront, because of his strengths on First Nations issues. I don't wish to speculate further on any implications."

Now, my thoughts. There is no reason to doubt what Hoov has said as he is a very respected poster who provides valuable information on a timely and regular basis! I assumed that Neil spent a lot of time at Noront but I also assumed that Spider investors had a full time C.E.O. and President which apparently might not have been true. If it was truly limited to basically one or ( two short) days a week of a typical C.E.O. and President then I am very disappointed. Yes, my opinion might be swayed by being down 76% on SPQ.

So, is it a good thing for SPQ like Hoov said? I sure think it is. Like Hoov stated, Neil's relationships with First Nations issues are well formed. That is an excellent asset for SPQ. The people of these remote communities are intelligent and very well informed on current issues with respect to their traditional lands. They want to open employment opportunities to their youth and improve on their living conditions. I believe that they will be the driving force to infrastructure for this area. They will provide much of the manpower required for a road and then for a mine and then the expertise to carry on for decades.
