An interesting Financial Post article:

"The U.S. dollar is continuing to slide as investor appetite is gaining momentum..."
What might all of this mean for Spider Resources?
One might assume with a slide in the greenback that gold will move much higher. But I'm not certain this would impact SPQ. It may, however, impact FWR and NOT since there is Clarence Stream and Windfall (poor old Windfall). So maybe if some "major" likes gold they'll buy FWR or part of it. An infusion of capital, so to speak.
Many wonder about Cliffs. They raised some new money recently. But it's probably all in American dollars.
So what if - perchance - the Canadian dollar (the currency of the Spider Resources balance sheet) goes again to $1.20 to the greenback? A 30% appreciation.
Will such an appreciation of the Canadian currency and the Euro and the Yen impact what will happen to Spider Resources?
Any thoughts?
