Sure looke like it had a bit of all three involved.

The Strategic aspect was to position themselves in a Very promising potential new Business Segment. Thus, looking down the road to expanding their Product Line for the North American Market, AND giving them the Leading Edge in Developing an International Franchise to Expand ALL their Product Line Markets.

Tactical in terms of being positioned to Increase their Share of a very much Valuable Chrome Resource by ensuring they would have access to a significant proportion of any Chromite Production if not deciding to go for being the Actual Production Operator of such a Chromite Mine Resource.

But by far the most important aspect of their move was the Fact that they were able to get into their significant proportion of any Chromite Production by easily obtaining a considerable position in a Diamond Oriented Explorer which would otherwise be sitting on their Death Bead, not sure they would survive long enough to wring some decent reward from a Very Valuable Mineral Resource they had absolutely no previous interest and even less Expertise in exploring for.

Thus, for KWG the Cliff's Buy In was very much "a life-saving move" and with their Diamond Property interests separated from the Mc Fauld's Lake Minerals Properties, their Share Holders have to be nothing short of VERY HAPPY.

Spider Resources is not at all like KWG and thus the Real Value of SPQ to the present Share Holders is very much UNDERVALUED at the current SP. And in turn, given the Cash in Hand presently there is NO NEED to do a PP at this time NOR at the suggested PP SP.

The current PP proposal can only be looked at as Someone's desire to PUNISH those Share Holders who Voted AGAINST the unwarranted PP put forth at the last AGM and to ENSURE that this Someone(s) will be able to HAVE THEIR WAY on ALL Matters going forward. And "having their own way" will not be to the over all benefit of ALL Current Share Holders.
