Message: NOT vs SPQ

"First Joe Hamilton treat all other companies as Competetor, which is very different tone than Richard Nemis."

Neil Novak has approached the exploration of the Ring of Fire in this manner - as a competitor. Second place with ArcelorMittal (for example) doesn't win you anything. Neil wants first place. Trust me on this.

"If that is the case, I believe NN may be in an awkward position , besides the coming year for the exploration will be handled by KWG."

Two points: I agree that Neil may be in an awkward position, which is why I have been wondering about WHY, and WHY NOW for the private placement. If both the NOT-twins and Neil are "competitive types" then it is really bizarre that Neil is still a NOT employee.

Second point, I wasn't aware that KWG had become the operator of the Freewest JV. I know that KWG were scheduled to be so for 2009, but I haven't seen any news on this. I will have to chat with Neil. He told me late in 2008 that the JV partners had not decided on who would be the 2009 JV operator.

"last but not least, they conclude that there will be no more news on visual appearances. This is something I stongly disagree, I remembered why Richard willing to put up the visual appearance news because he likes to be as fair as possible to the shareholders so that nobody can benefit from the on site information. Besides, as of today the visual appearances of drilled holes are quite in line to the lab results."

I don't think Neil will share any visual results. He is of the same mindset as the NOT-twins. The time Richard Nemis had with Noront was not rare in so far as communications, but it was very unusual in the larger realm of mining companies. I would be interested in hearing from any of the posters on this forum about a ROF CEO similar to Richard Nemis - one who you could phone and find out about "visuals". I believe that the communications protocols followed by CEOs Hamilton, Parisotto, and Novak is "standard practice".

Comments welcome.
