You will find The Big Score (Jacqui McNish) very well written. The antics of Friedland are a highlight. But he knew how to market. What I think we need to do at PDAC 2009 is find a big shoe for Neil Novak. (You gotta read the book to find out what Friedland does with his shoe.)

I should also note that Irish1111 has sent a recent email to Ms. McNish telling her about the Ring of Fire, and that there is an opportunity for another great book.
