Thanks Snug:

At least Xstrata is holding up to their bargin, (No layoffs for three years) and offering the other 30 remaining employees from the orginal retirement program.

This will give some relief to the laid off employees.

P.S......It also may give Vale Inco Employees some relief also, they have the same commitments from CVRD (No lay offs for 3 YRS)........RL
