We've all known for quite some time (since 2006, I think) that Spider and KWG had a little "split" and one went the "metal way" (SPQ) and one went the "diamond way".

However, they are still joined at the hip in a legal sense when it comes to joint ventures. That's just the way it is.

I guess I started thinking about it (the agreement between KWG and Cliffs) again, and I said to myself, "this is weird". Then again, I guess it isn't. Somebody knew somebody.

Now it is entirely possible that Neil Novak was approached and he said "No deal". But that's not what he told me. So I don't think Cliffs has approached SPQ.

So what is Cliffs' strategy? Whatever it is, must be interesting. Maybe a little ROF "kiss" to get hearts racing. Perhaps we'll all have a Valentines gift. Like how about 50 cents for SPQ! Yeeaaaaaaaaaaah!
