Canadian economists have suggested that "infrastructure" projects would provide the "biggest bang for the buck" in helping get the Canadian economy back on the rails: employment, future vision, and good use of taxpayer dollars.
Why not invest in mining infrastructure, which has always been a backbone of the Canadian economy. Clearly the world's economies, when they start to inevitably grow again, will need both base and precious metals. And why not Canada's?
Whatever one's political stripe in Canada, it's time to get in touch with our governments, especially the one in Ottawa. Give them concrete (talk about an infrastructure word) suggestions.
