Novak & Feeney are off to Europe. (Another poster put this info up on either the NOT or FWR board.) This is good news because NOT continues with its ongoing strategy, and SPQ and FWR are tied to its hip.

It will, however, have to be one heck of a selling job in Europe. This seems to be probably (IMHO) the absolute worse time to be selling the story. Or is it?

I really don't think the "bailout" in the USA will really help anyone or anything except the US dollar - for a while. London's financial community has been decimated, and European governments are having to guarantee savings accounts. (In the meantime, Canadians are weathering the run-up to a federal government election. Ho hum.)

So will selling the ROF story in Europe - in particular the chromite story - be of any use? IMHO in the long run, absolutely. In 12 months as the world starts to crawl out of the recession, people will begin to open their wallets once more to buy homes, along with cars, appliances, home furnishings, etc.

In the meantime, the close association of NOT-SPQ-FWR, their closely watched drilling programs, and the careful management of the investor dollar will not only get us through, but hopefully bring significant appreciation in share prices in the future.

And perhaps, just perhaps, a "major" will come along for the holiday season, and take a stake in the ROF. Wouldn't that be nice.

I believe that the majority of SPQ and ROF investors are positive people with positive attitudes towards our future. Having said that, we need to pull together through these rough times.
