I think, if you compare Kemi to McFauld´s, you will find that with the recent FWR/SPQ/KWG NR and the recent FWR 100% NR, there is a very good chance, that the McFauld´s Chromite Company (NOT,FWR,SPQ,KWG) will sport similar tonnages once the 43-101 on all chrome deposits of these companies are added up.
And keep in mind, that NOT/FWR/SPQ/KWG are showing thicker zones and better grades than Kemi, so you would need less tonnage for similar value.
The Kemi mine was open pit (now underground to 500m), it consists of 11 ore bodies over a 15km strike lenght (Mc Fauld´s: 5 bodies over 10 km and counting).
Kemi´s ore bodies are 40m thick (McFauld´s: 20-100m , if FWR´s 100% hit is ONE body).
Kemi hosts 41.1 Mt reserves @ 24,5% Cr2O3 and 86.1 Mt (mainly inferred) @ 29% Cr2O3 (McFauld´s: to be determined, grades better than Kemi).
There is much more to come and with today´s news release there is no doubt, we have a big chrome mine @ McFauld´s !
Looking forward to things to come.
BTW: a nice Ni/PGE hit wouldn´t surprise me and will cause additional action.
