Most miners that get taken over are closer to production stage, but nothing's impossible. These junior miners are very cheap, but the problem is that shareholders of junior miners hold these shares because they expect that there is great potential in the areas that the companies are operating in.
Therefore most shareholders that got in at $0.15 and bought for the long run won't even be too pleased with a 100% premium on top of the current share price.
I'd rather see all my junior miners stay independent. Takeover premiums are hardly ever triple digit percentages.
