First of all, thanks for the kind words, as we say in Holland: insgelijks.
I was referring to what happened after the dip below 50. Exactly the same pattern shows: LEH was accumulated with the MA's moving South. See: http://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=LEH...
Accum/Dist is however a momentum indicator which does have the ability to show trend change when divergence occurs, but I would hardly call it a reliable indicator. As you can see in the above link, CMF (Chaikin's Money Flow) is another indicator I put in. CMF is simple to calculate: Acumm.Dist divided by Volume.
A positive CMF show accumulation and a negative one apparently shows the opposite. See SPQ Weekly chart:
http://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=SPQ...
You'll notice that in the weekly chart that CMF doesn't show bullish divergence. Actually, to be on the safe side, most traders look for triple bullish divergence, or three higher bottoms in CMF combined with a falling share price.
In other words, we may still have a long way to go before SPQ turns bullish on the longer term charts, but it is safe to say that signals are certainly becoming 'less bearish'.
