Sorry for the delay Kelsee, I read your post the other day and started to respond. However, I found that I was getting a little angry at the soft bashers and deleted it before I got carried away.

The SP is down. We all know that. There seems to be no reason for it, which means that it is not something inherently wrong with the company. The whole commodities market is down from the highs.

What people have forgotten is that we are still above 52 week lows. We have been trading in this current 0.055 to 0.065 range for almost two months now, while many of our counterparts in the ROF have continued to fall. Some say that we were the first to reach this low level, but I say we led the charge! hehe, not always good be the first.

We have been trading low since the AGM. When the BOD brought up the issue of share consolidation, they got an ear-full from those who were against the idea. We never bounced back after that, for two reasons. The first I have mentioned - commodities are trading low. The other reason is the market view of the shareholder action. It might be, that by voting against a BOD motion, we have shown the market that the BOD does not have the confidence of the shareholders.

This, of course, is not true. Out of a sense of frustration with the SP, our BOD made a proposition that they thought would be in the best interest of the shareholders. It was a misguided attempt, and may have spelled certain disaster had it passed, but it did show that they are thinking of our best interest (and theirs, they are paid with shares).

Ok, on to the reasons to accumulate more shares! Rather than reiterate those given by Snug in his excellent post last week, I will stick to some additional ones to consider.

  1. Neil Novak has been instrumental for getting the whole ROF going. He is involved in many of the companies, and as such is privy to the information that we can not see. Such as VTEM maps. He knows where to drill, and at the AGM, he mentioned that they are hitting more often than not now.
  2. We have a 43-101! There is enough ore in the ground to substantiate going through the process of delineating what we have. The market ignored it, so far, only because it is too small to do anything with at this time. But, once we find more ore deposits, there will be more resources, and they will add up to the level required to open a mine (or many mines).
  3. Spider, through jv, has one of the largest land interests in the ROF! And I am talking top 5 here! Many of these interests are in what I call the 'excitement zone' due to the amount of anomolous readings that the ATEM surveys show.

This stock is not for the weak of heart. I am down 50% or better on my 500k shares, only because I can't scratch up enough money to buy more and average down. But that is what I would do if I could - buy. I firmly believe that the day is coming when we will really excite the market, and I want to have a large part in planning the retirement parties that will result!

But, do your own DD. There is a whole whack of informative links to be found in the link library.

This market is currently out of favour. But it is not going to stay that way forever. Shares bought now will definitely have their day, and even the $0.10-$0.15 I paid for a lot of mine will turn out to be a bargain. This probably will not happen over night, and it may be another 9 months or more before the big price bang happens. But, this summer will likely see the lowest prices, as there is a lot of support keeping the price from dropping any lower.
