Thanks for your thoughts JD, and while I have not participated in the R/S discussion, I have followed the debate as it unfolded, and I have participated in the vote!
I could be way out in left field here, but given the recent revelations of late that lending insitutions have not been doing any favours to their clients when their is a PP involved, it gets me thinking.. Is this why the institutions desire a smaller share float(the institutions who shall remain nameless, from the AGM) were pushing for it? After all, the geology of SPQ's claims probably makes them salivate, and then they only wish there weren't 300 million shares to slog through to manipulate the price down.
I have heard it said by brokers, ( and perhaps this is false, so feel free to debate it) that a large float is no obstacle to success. The only time it is a problem is when everyone and their dog is selling.
At any rate, kudos to all the people who go above and beyond to inform and enlighten!
