Jeannie contacted me offline with some very useful information for shareholders outside of Canada.

Kathy had to contact Equity Transfer on behalf of Jeannie. Equity said that Jeannie was neither a "registered" nor an "NOBO" shareholder, and needs to contact her broker for something called a "voting instruction form".

(Note: Jeannie will not receive a company package - and therefore has no "control number with which to vote - but can vote with the voting instruction form.)

So yes, the brokerage house is potentially very important for shareholders outside of Canada.

And most importantly contact Kathy if you want to vote, and if things are confusing. It's entirely possible that brokers and brokerage house might be somewhat unfamiliar with the "voting instruction form".
