Storm ...
"Honestly I think its too early to ask for us to vote on this."
I hear what you are saying. Spider Resources is a high risk-reward company, so it's worth taking some time to think about your vote.
Some SPQ investors have had direct experience with companies that have done reverse splits so they have a good idea how they're going to vote.
There are still a few weeks before the AGM, and there's potential for lots of news. And remember, Spdier Resources has already found chromitite and PGEs on the Freewest Option, and drilling continues. So we know it's there - the challenge is to find more of it! :)
At this time the bottom line is to make certain you vote. Many investors - but not all! - think a vote AGAINST resolution #12 is the appropriate choice.
Optics in the business of junior exploration is very, very important. Psychology in high risk investing seems always at peril, and smart choices by the investor and management are of paramount importance.
Screw-ups by management can kill a company. However, I don't think Neil Novak has made any such screw-ups to this point. He has good JVs, a drill exploring a proven high potential find, and money in the bank.
So we need tell him how we feel about Resolution #12. On this Board we are discussing the history of other company's reverse splits, and we have our gut feelings. Hopefully this information will help us all with our vote.
