The practice of paying for quicker service does not result in quicker services. I verbally spoke to Richard Nemis specifically on this topic and I said I was told that companies can pay for faster service and his response was that they did pay more and the time to assays were the same. In other words, regardless of what the labs say about quicker turn around times they are not living up to their express service promises. This is the very reason why Noront have gone to other methods to get quicker turn arounds on their assay results; they are not there yet, but they have a working relationship with a new lab in Thunderbay with the express intent of getting preferred status on assays throught up front prepaid services. I heard the amount was $200K up front to get the lab started.

RUSH Analysis: If you require analyses by a certain date, please ensure that this is clearly noted on the Request for Analysis form. We will make every effort to meet your requirements, however, rush conditions will require payment of a surcharge (i.e., 3 days – 200%, 1 week – 100%, 2 weeks – 50%).

This is from Actlabs website ...about the turnaround time
