First Explorer at the "Ring of Fire" and presently drilling on the "BIG DADDY" Chromite/Pge's jv'd property...yet we were robbed
Here is the information that should settle this for everyone. From KWG NR, February 19 08
"KWG and Spider have an equal interest in the option, under which they may together earn up to a 65% interest in the property. Both companies also have equivalent interests in various other joint ventures between them, including the extensive McFaulds Lake properties optioned to UC Resources Inc (TSX VENTURE: UC). "It is important that the investing public understands how KWG and Spider are completely equal in their interests that are adjacent to the recent Noront discovery in the so-called Ring of Fire", said KWG president Frank Smeenk.
Read and reread KWG news releases! KWG has option to buy equal partnership in mineral sites through expenditures, SPQ has the same option to purchase equal claim to kimberlite claims with KWG. KWG has indicated they will pursue equal ownership of FWR claims with SPQ. In the event of a buyout, or even as soon as an actual find of economically viable interest is achieved, the gap in market value will deteriate with upside favoring KWG. ie. A buyout would favor both companies equally. I hold both companies long but not on a one to one ratio. Market cap for KWG is presently $23 million, for SPQ is $34 million, with equal claim the upside of a find on FWR favors KWG.
