KWG and Spider share equally in Ring of Fire

In its release KWG states it "will not proceed with the second tranche," does that mean that they will no longer need the money? Or that they would be wanting a much higher price per share for a private placement now?

Further it looks like KWG is trying to paint itself as being on par with Spider - I assume it is to increase it's share price?
