Rundle ...
Great to get your comments. I'm long on NOT, although at this point I have no BMK. I also have SPQ and some of the other juniors. We have all heard that McFaulds is an "area play", perhaps the next great Canadian area play. I think that the very similar Feb. 8 technical charts for all of the plays, including BMK, confirm that this is an area play.
NOT is clearly the flagship. It's not a one-horse pony (as you noted) with a number of mineral plays including Double Eagle and Windfall. With Richard Nemis and Neil Novak at the helm, I think that the area play strategy is in excellent hands.
With the infusion of cash by McEwen and others of BMK for the latest private placement (PP), a new wrinkle has appeared. And I think it's a good one. Once again exploration risk is being shared. However, it's unclear how BMK will play into the Richard Nemis strategy.
Today I read the KERR_NICKEL.PDF mentioned on the NOT forum. A very interesting read about Voisey's Bay. Having th Voisey Bay deposit close to a deep water port is a very key advantage. I wondered how far McFaulds Lake was from Attawapiskat on James Bay. It's 152 miles as the eagle flies. Quite some distance. But then I realized that Sudbury has smelters. I need to calculate that distance, but if a motherlode is found, the infrastructure including a road will be built.
So thanks for the post. Great to hear from you. I note that you're active on the NOT forum which is also great.
