One market guru commented today: "The market is over sold, over cashed, and over gloomy." Everyone seems to be in a funk; perhaps it's over funked! Then again maybe the market has SAD - seasonal affective disorder - because there's not enough light.
When I was bummed out once, a theology professor I knew told me this: "Where there's great darkness, there's great light." Overly simple? Overly trite? Hummmmmmmmm. I think quite balanced, actually. Not even necessarily theological.
Bottom line: SPQ and the McFauld's stocks are caught up in the general market funk. However, we know that the geology is there; the money is there; the expertise, too. (Maybe even eight tiny reindeer.)
SPQ will shine in 2008.
By the way, I've changed from scotch to rum and egg nog in order to celebrate the season.
