Google Earth, Spider camp, McFauld's Lake

If you are missing the stock market action on SPQ this weekend and you have Google Earth on your computer, you might want to try this:

1) Use these coordinates 52 46' 3"N, 86 3' 29"W - this will get you right to the middle of McFauld's Lake (the screen will be essentially black)

2) Use the scale in the upper right hand corner to zoom out so that you can see the lake and surrounding bush.

3) Use the directional graphic in the same corner to move NORTH.

You should end up seeing a orange-yellow patch which probably is the Spider drill camp.

There probably is a great deal of other interesting stuff which can be explored including Fort Hope (51 33' 33"N, 87 54' 16"W) which is one of the nearest small towns.  I believe that a winter road comes up to Fort Hope and it may a possible site for pushing a future road up to McFauld's Lake and The Ring of Fire.

Enjoy.
