As pressed by Sonomax, Skullcandy intends to launch its own in-ear buds at the 2012 CES. I have been digging to get a preview but I have not found anything concrete. The best I can find is this:

It sounds like this might be the product but I am not sure. I guess I will be waiting to see what comes from the CES.

Also, I want to point out a few more interesting companies that might benefit from the Sonomax Custom fitting patents.

Again, note the soft rubber insert which is from my experience with other buds very uncomfortable and painful after long term use.

Bose, a reputable name is always striving to maximize user comfort with its in ear buds. I see a potential fit between Sonomax and Bose down the road as Bose constantly strives to improve their product line.
