You seem to be surprised, but I’m not. First of all, it isn’t someone, rather a bunch of brokers elected to remain unattributed, or "anonymous” selling through broker ID 1 Anonymous. The most likely reason for today’s selling is yearend activity for tax purposes. Of course, seeing a market activity like this it does put an extra pressure on the uninitiated.
