In a follow up to one of my earlier posts where I mentioned PE ratios I wanted to show all of you this chart from RIM.
http://ycharts.com/companies/RIMM/pe_ratio
Back when RIM was a booming telecom company with growing earnings and new innovative product rolling out to the market continuously they hit a peak PE ratio of almost 67!
Not that I am expecting SHH to hit a PE ratio of 67, but IF Sonomax hits 50% of their target goals that would give them 50 cents per share earnings and at a PE ratio of 67 you would be looking at a share price of $33.50!
Like I said, I do not think that we will ever see a ratio like that but my point is a ratio of 1:1 is just as unlikely. I believe that given time (1-3 years) and proper management we will see $1-$2 per share and in a 3-5 year period possibly $5-$10 unless the company gets taken out before then.
