I know that in the past, some people have downplayed the bionic ear, and dont really believe in it. They didnt like all the money that was going to be used for the development of this product, and I can understand that. After all, wouldnt we want to focus on selling what we actually have developped thus far?
that being said I want to point out that new technology is always being discovered, and that investing in such a product with our money is the key to the future. Tech companies disapear quickly if they dont continue to innovate as well as maintain a good line of attention grabbing products.
You dont have to look too far to see some examples of that. Look at research in motion, the maker of the blackberry. They have been leaders in the smart phone from the very begining and for years the enjoyed supremacy in that field. T
The problem with being the only head honcho is that eventually you start to let your guard down and grow lazy, because nobody comes and challenges you.
Then apple came around and put out the iphone, which litterally blew away anything that RIM had made up to this point. Their stock plummeted, and now they are starting to wake up again and getting back in shape to reclaim their head honcho status.
Competition is good for any business, it pushes them to achieve greater goals.
so in summary, sonomax is indeed one of the best companies for our kind of technology, but if they want to remain one of the top contenders, they have to keep on putting out new fresh technology, like the bionic ear. Otherwise, like many tech company before them, they will go the way of the dinosaurs
